Sloan’s Lake is best known for being the biggest lake in Denver and the city’s second largest park at 177 acres. Not only is this lake perfect for fishing the marina, water skiing in the lake, and paddling the scenic shoreline, but it is a perfect place to catch a beautiful sunset with a stunning view of the Rocky Mountains and a Denver skyline. However, in the past couple of years, shops and restaurants have sprung up in the neighborhood as young couples are extending their search for more affordable housing outside of the nearby Highland neighborhood.
